Great little show in Bristol

This little show is a great example of locally coordinated Art work that doesn't over stretch to London and isn't godforsaken Graffiti!  They've built a wooden structure that leads you from Art work to Art work.

Excellent and in the heart of Nathan Barley territory.

Work by Susanna Lisle

Two works, oil on board, related by the same pattern. The study is the basis for a bigger painting I am working on.

Work by Amy Higgins

My work explores the profound displacement that people experience when forced from a territory they call home.  This research endeavor's to show how art can act as a way to express the realities of this issue and provide as a platform for people who have experienced these circumstances and to give them a voice.

With the use of photography and video work, I investigate the boundaries between observation and participation, looking particularly at human condition and occupation of the peripheral and liminal spaces they inhabit.

MFA show 18th May

Hi

Our opening is Wednesday 18th May 2011 at 6pm!
A recent mailout had a small opening night date error, so apologies.

Our final, final show is sometime in September, post B.A shows, so this show is a small taster of our work compiled in the small portions of time working in the mill  and Bathspa allows.

Here's the flyer which will have some presence at Sion Hill over the next two weeks.

Thanks! B
